DEVOUT SEXUALITY: FASHIONED FOR THE GLORY OF GOD
Join us on September 9-10, as we share with all women how we are to devote our sexuality to the Lord. We want to encourage ourselves to understand God’s sacred design for human sexuality, and not settle for smaller pleasures that quickly turn into spiritual bondage. This is one of the many topics we will discuss. Below you will find other topics we will discuss during our time together. We hope you will join us.
Marriage
Enjoying our spouse as God intended isn't just about physical pleasure but spiritual connection as well. Even the simplest touch or slightest look can communicate a great deal about our understanding of our spouse, of ourselves and of God's purpose for sex. Through both biblical and therapeutic perspectives, the session will explore the potential of sexual intimacy as we seek to glorify God in our marriage ... and in our marriage bed. Ephesians 5:21-33
Hidden Sins
Sex is God’s idea and sexuality is part of God’s perfect plan, so what makes sex immoral? Expect to get real (raw and uncut) information from an experienced person who was once in the trenches of sexual immorality. We’ll discuss the 3 Cs with supporting Biblical references. Come find out what those C’s represent. We’re praying that all leave with renewed commitment to press into God’s design.
Sexual Abuse
As Christians we are to boldly stand against sin of any kind. Sexual abuse is sin because it neglects to treat another as an image bearer ( Genesis 1:27) and disregards the command to love one another ( John 13:34). Sexual abuse violates God’s intention for sexual intimacy in marriage between one man and one woman. If you have been sexually abused, there is hope. Jesus knows your hurts, your past, and even your shame. He offers new life when you place your faith in him as Savior and Lord (2 Corinthians 5:17). It is my prayer that you accept his gift of salvation, love, and freedom and begin to heal from the trauma of sexual abuse.
Sex & The Single Woman
Singleness is supposed to be a gift from the Lord, but why does it feel like a curse? In this session we will explore God's design for us as single women, as well as practical ways for maintaining sexual purity as we seek to glorify the Lord with our bodies. I Cor. 7:39-40
Guarding Our Gifts
The Guardian of the universe (Ps. 125:2) has given us a responsibility and His resources to guard our gifts (children) in this generation. Women will gather to examine God’s Word for understanding of our responsibility and apply wisdom with His resources to guard our gifts in this generation. Women will be encouraged in faith and spurred onward to good works.
LGBTQ
My truth, your truth? Be whomever you want to be? Live your truth? Become your true self? Here’s the real question: What does the Bible have to say about our sexuality? In this session, we will examine Scripture to see what God’s written Word says on these matters. Listeners will be encouraged that there is hope and grace for all, and the Lord desires us all to walk in the freedom of His Will and His forgiveness..
Sexual Purity (Teen Class)
God is holy. What does that mean for us as women who love Him - especially as it relates to sexuality? We are going to dive into what Scripture says about God’s holiness, HIs standards for us, and why it matters. Our purity extends as far beyond just physical intimacy. And His grace extends as far as the East is from the West.
My Body, His Glory (Teen Class)
As women, it is crucial for us to know who created us. How did he create us? Why did he create us? What is required of us? In a world filled with ideologies that are against the Word of God, we must ask ourselves this important question: How can we thrive as women of God while living in a sexually immoral culture? I Thess. 4:3-8
